“Sinatra Live At The Sands” is a 1966 album was recorded at The Sands Hotel which was destroyed in 1996 to make room for the bigger and glitzier Venecian Hotel. It was most likely recorded in The Copa Room where Sinatra and all the greats of the time performed. I think we lost an important piece of history when they leveled that hotel. But business is business I suppose.
I couldn’t find any video from the 1966 performance but here’s Sinatra with a different live performance of “I’ve Got You Under My Skin.”
I wonder what it would be like to build a Delorean based time machine and go back to 1966 to check it out. Desegregation was in full swing by then so I would have actually been allowed into The Sands Hotel. The buffets prices would probably look insanely low even by Vegas standards!
