Wonderful Tunes Provided By Friends. Wild Tangents Provided By Me.

Pat Suzuki

Pat Suzuki is pretty cool isn’t she? She was born and raised in California and her family was placed in a Japanese internment camp during World War 2. She was in the original broadway production of “Flower Drum Song” but her part was recast for the movie. Since we don’t have a tweet from Frank today, why don’t we listen to one of her more famous tunes “How High The Moon.” I usually hear this one with a much more upbeat tempo but I think it makes a wonderful torch song!

Things are back to normal now here in house beautiful. Everyone is healthy and we have clean dishes and underwear. Of course, the most important news, I was able to get The Beautiful Baby’s blankey washed and returned to her before bedtime!
