Scooby Dooby Don’t!

I like Scooby Doo! It’s probably one of the few shows you can watch in any language and never miss a single plot point. This from the 1979 hour long special “Scooby Goes Hollywood.” In it, Scooby and Shaggy get tired of being in their low class Saturday morning cartoon and decide to pitch some new prime time show ideas to a big time Hollywood producer. They spoof many popular shows of the 70’s but in the end, of course, they wind up staying on Saturday mornings where they belong. The English song title is “Gotta Have Time.” When I ran it through Google Translate I got “Måste Ha Tid.” I’m not sure who voiced the Swedish characters but I think the Swedish Scooby voice is great!

Here’s the English version of the song. It starts after 10 seconds. The singers here are Don Messick as Scooby Doo and Marilyn Schreffler as Cherie.

As odes to bestiality go, this one’s pretty catchy in both languages!
