Busy As James Galway

Virtuoso flute player James Galway is sometimes called “The Man With The Golden Flute.” Wikipedia says he is one of the first to establish a career as an international soloist but I am not sure that’s true.

Nicholai Rimsky-Korsakov composed “Flight Of The Bumblebee” between 1899-1900. It was part of his opera “Tale Of The Tsar Saltan.” It comes at the end of Act III when the magic Swan-Bird turns the Tsar’s son into a bee. Man! the drugs must have been amazing in the olden days!

I have been as busy as a… I can’t think how to end that sentence but really busy! I didn’t even finish last night’s blog post until it was technically already today. But since it was still yesterday on the west coast, I’m going to count it as a win. Charlie Sheen is not the only one who can do delusions of grandeur people!
